Courvoisier VSOP Cognac Review: Subtle and silky smooth, this is full of caramelised apples and oak wood with a nice touch of herbality. 80/100

Fercullen 10 Years Old Single Grain whisky review: Well matured, during sampling I hadn’t even considered this as grain but more a triple-distilled malt, hard to ascribe much spirit character this is mostly cask to my palate but well done nonetheless. 82/100
Fercullen Premium Blend whisky review: A great blend, very drinkable and enjoyable a good start or introduction to the range. 80/100
Kura the Whisky whisky review: A little abrasive at first, has layers of sweetness and spice, eventually balances out but still has some oddly sweet nature to it. 80/100
Kavalan Classic Single Malt Whisky Review: Very pleasant but rather light in places, fades as an experience, i.e. nose>palate>finish, still a great base whisky with which Kavalan have done wonders with. 82/100
Brenne Cuvee Speciale whisky review: I quite like this one, something very different from classic Scotch single malts. Definitely on the sweeter side and very perfumed, but I couldn’t get over my love of classic bubblegums which this reminded me of, and also cinnamon schnapps (which I’d rather not be reminded of!) something in the spirit quality maybe? Overall quite a different experience. 81/100
Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Review: A classic expression from Glenfiddich with a huge hit of fruity and fresh pears on the nose that travels throughout this whisky. Expertly constructed using American and Sherry oak casks. I love the slightly drying nature in the finish making me want to revisit the freshness on the nose again. 83/100
Redbreast 12 Year Old Irish Pot Still Whiskey Review: A lovely mixture of fruit, sweet and spices. That Irish Pot Still unmalted barley spice and bite plus a little citric or acidic juice cuts through a rich and sweet sherry influence. Superb! 85/100
A great introductory whiskey to the Tullamore range or ‘Blended’ Irish whiskey category. All very pleasant, perhaps a hint more wood smoke and spice than I remember on previous tastings? 83/100
The perennial classic Balvenie 12 Doublewood, the perfect introductory dram and still great today. 84/100
