A well aged grain, quite solventy and woody but also plenty of sugars and fruit apparent in the spirit. 83/100

Rather underwhelming this one, I suspected this was perhaps a 3rd or 4th refill cask as only exhausted oak wood notes come out. 83/100
Another lovely fruity and spirit-forward Mortlach, some obvious vanilla/bourbon influence here but works well together, great mouthfeel on this one and the odd metallic note here and there. 85/100
This Mortlach reveals much more naked spirit even after 19 years, indicative of very underactive refill casks, still great quality spirit. 84/100
Refill matured but I suspected sherry here again? Some spice and sugar but not too much/too intense fruit. I suspected peppery (Spanish) oak, and leathery/meaty spirit from Mortlach may have swayed me. 85/100
Inchmurrin 15 Years Old 1996 Signatory Vintage Cask 24+25 whisky review: Very nice, not too challenging but very little peat influence I could detect. 83/100
Edradour 10 Years Old 2005 The Un-Chillfiltered Collection Sherry Cask #74 whisky review: Great nose with a heavy sherry influence but much more balanced on the palate, finishes with a lovely mouth-puckering dried fruits. 85/100
Imperial 20 Years Old 1995 The Un-Chillfiltered Collection whisky review: A fascinating dram, possibly the least favoured by many at the table but also disappeared the fastest! Make of that what you will, this dram was much more funky and dusty then the final dram of the evening… 87/100
Glenburgie 20 Years Old 1995 Signatory Vintage whisky review: A very woody and fruity/tropical number – a great drinker with chocolate coated peanuts, wood, walnut and leather over fruit and cereal. 85/100
Glenlivet 9 Years Old 2006 The Un-Chillfiltered Collection whisky review: Flavour-filled and quite malty as you would expect from a relatively young expression matured in an active 1st fill butt. I actually found this still a little too spirity and feisty at 46% but it takes water well and revealed a delicious milk chocolate note under all the dried fruit and tannins. 84/100
