Superbly smooth and very sweet and fleshy/juicy stone fruits abound, like biting into ripe peach, apricot and Nashi pears. Wonderful. 87/100

Glen Moray 17 Years Old 2003 Chardonnay Cask Whisky Review: Pretty full on at cask strength this is packed with fruits and tannins, with water some peppery spice still remains. 85/100
Glen Grant 17 Years Old 1995 Dimensions whisky review: Surprisingly good, lots of thick vanilla and well developed fruity flavours in here, delicious! 86/100
Clynelish 1992 Distillers Edition Whisky Review: Hmm this one felt very much like a work in progress to me, perhaps not overtly influenced by the Oloroso Seco finish or perhaps 16 years of previous maturation required slightly more rather than slightly less than 12 months finishing period? Still a classically waxy and flavourful Clynelish. 84/100
Glengoyne 17 Years Old Batch #1 whisky review: A very classy dram with a polished and subtle sherry influence that still lets the natural fruitiness of the Glengoyne spirit shine through. 89/100
Glen Scotia Festival Edition No.3 whisky review: A very nice single cask expression Glen Scotia. There is a little fruity acidity and sherbety fizz but combined with the salt, spice and peat and also a slightly dusty old wood element this to me comes across more as slightly less active cask that has let the distillate shine through – rather than something overtly youthful tasting at 17 years old. This isn’t all citrus and ex-bourbon vanilla, but has a sharpness to it that cuts across the palate like salt and chilli. 88/100
A Fine Christmas Malt 2018 whisky review: A lovely sherried Christmas dram, a little spicy and sappy/pine wood actually keeps this refreshing. There is plenty of sticky syrupy sweet and buttery oils in here but well-balanced against wood influences. Perhaps not the most redolent of Christmas for me, this sherried dram is very drinkable and certainly got me in the mood for Christmas at the very least. A great selection by The Whisky Exchange at a very reasonable price. 85/100
A 17yo Single cask Auchroisk bottled by Robert Graham. Well imprinted with Auchroisk fruity distillery character. 83/100
A great balance between distillate and sherry cask maturation, with fruits, spice and tannic wood. 86/100
More refined and deeper Doublewood experience from The Balvenie. 86/100
