Officially established in Lynchburg Tennessee in 1886 with Jasper Newton (Jack) Daniel as the first Master Distiller. A few years later the distillery moves up the road to its present-day home to be closer to Jack’s Daniel’s prime resource, the mineral-rich Cave Spring Hollow.
