Clynelish 21 Years Old Batch 7 whisky review: A touch spicy and drying, some peppery character mixed with the cinnamon spice and some sweet honey, I feel I’m picking at hairs here but for its age this seemed a little un-diverse or plain. 86/100

Paul John 6 Years Old Batch #3 Whisky Review: Quite intense and occasionally a little harsh on the palate with the peat influence, however massess of creamy vanilla and rich chocolate work wonders here too! 85/100
Glen Elgin 22 Years Old Batch #2 whisky review: Quite spirit led, with a massive fruity sweetness and some drying oak wood or sawdust, a good range of fruits though not quite as tropical as I might have hoped from the age of this one. 85/100
Macduff 10 Years Old Batch 8 Whisky Review: A lovely rich and dark chocolatey expression with a surprise hit of salinity / coastal influence. 87/100
Islay #3 13 Years Old Batch 4 whisky review: A fantastic Islay expression with plenty of milk chocolate / peanut butter and salt that combine perfectly into Reeses peanut butter cups and lots of herbal thyme thrown in for good measure, awesome! 89/100
Irish Single Malt #1 13 Years Old Batch 2 Whisky Review: A very fresh and fruity 13 year old expression / batch. Full of apples and oak and very drinkable for it. 84/100
Ben Nevis 23 Years Old Batch 10 Whisky Review: A simply wonderful Ben Nevis expression! I found this one much grubbier and sweaty and full of Ben Nevis’s industrial funk than the Amber Light bottling. 89/100
Longmorn 10 Years Old Batch 3 Whisky Review: A little bit spice and a lovely hint of florality on the nose, on the palate this has much more spirit character than cask for me and again I’m drawn to the conclusion that this is a lovely spirit-driven expression thanks to refill cask maturation. Very little oak in here but lots of drinkable Longmorn spirit. 84/100
Speyburn 10 Years Old Batch 3 Whisky Review: Another refill cask aged expression by the feels of it, good balance again here with some nice spirit quality revealing good distillery character only I couldn’t taste the salmon! 😉 84/100
Strathclyde 31 Years Old Batch 4 Whisky Review: Sweet and delicious – a well aged vanilla-filled grain whisky. 86/100
