  • The-Singleton-Of-Dufftown-12-Years-Old The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Years Old (2020) - The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Years Old Whisky Review: Smooth and cereal rich with a good fruity sweetness. Still on of my favourite introductory whiskies, a pleasure to revisit. 82/100
  • singleton-of-dufftown-15-year-old-whisky The Singleton of Dufftown 15 Years Old (2020) - Much more balanced that the Trinité but I still found this one a little bland. I love the 12, despite it's super-easy drinking it is full of subtleties and nuances of flavour that works really well. Sadly I'm just not finding that here. 84/100
  • the-singleton-dufftown-54-years-old The Singleton of Dufftown 54 Years Old (2021) - Remarkably well-aged and rejuvenated whisky which is massively drinkable in no small part to the PX polish of sweet dried fruit, nut and chocolate influences layered over some really deep, fibrous and chewy old wood. Hugely complex as befitting its heritage and the era it was created and distilled but also fresh and approachable thanks to the finishing - this is an aged whisky made for drinking & enjoying! 92/100
  • Singleton Malt Master's Selection The Singleton of Dufftown Malt Master’s Selection (2018) - The Singleton of Dufftown Malt Master’s Selection Single Malt Scotch Whisky Review: A very mealy and really rather good expression from Dufftown, I have to admit to being partial to the 12yo which is an easy drinker for me. Perhaps it is more spirit character here, but I found myself liking this expression better with a view to re-acquainting myself with the 12yo again for comparison. I'm not usually a big fan of spice but this has just the right addition to liven up a thick, sweet and rich expression. 84/100
  • The Singleton of Dufftown Spey Cascade (2015) - The Singleton of Dufftown Spey Cascade (40%, OB, 2015) Single malt scotch whisky 40% ABV, £25 for 70cl Score: 82/100 What they say: Our signature single malt, smooth rich and perfectly balanced […]
  • Singleton Sunray The Singleton of Dufftown Sunray (2015) - The Singleton of Dufftown Sunray (40%, OB, 2015) Dufftown Distillery – Diageo 40% ABV £39.89 Score: 82/100 What they say: THE SINGLETON OF DUFFTOWN SUNRAY A smooth and elegant example of Dufftown’s […]
  • singleton-of-dufftown-tailfire-whisky The Singleton of Dufftown Tailfire (2016) - Short and sweet overall, some nice aromas but fairly unimpressive from there onwards. This is supposed to be bursting with red fruit and berries - I guess the dram I received had already burst? I will stick to the Spey Cascade or 12 Year Old from now on. 81/100
  • singleton-of-dufftown-trinite-1l-whisky The Singleton of Dufftown Trinité (2020) - Inoffensive and almost a little bland in places, ok for an introductory whisky and for me a touch too spiced - or at least nothing balanced against the wood spices in this one. 77/100

  • Original-Collection-Dufftown-70cl Dufftown 10 Years Old Original Collection (2020) - Obviously sherried and a little acetic/vinegary on the nose, more confusing on the palate but I guess as a mixture of ex-Boubon and PX sherry casks were used this threw me a little bit. Pretty safe and sound for a well-sherried speyside dram. 84/100

  • Dufftown-Bicentenary Dufftown 8 Years Old 2009 Bicentenary Drammie (2020) - Dufftown 8 Years Old 2009 Bicentenary Drammie Whisky Review: Pleasant and solid, cloyingly rich nose but a more reserved palate full of cereal notes a  touch of zest and spice keep it interesting. 82/100
