Another expression packed full with fruit, nut and spice, these are starting to feel much more integrated though there is still a touch of a youthful spiced and vaporous nature towards the end. 85/100

Delicious, not as spicy as anticipated, this is delivered with a lovely sweetness and plenty of cereal nature and is well textured on the palate. 85/100
Very drinkable new make spirit when presented at 45% ABV.
Quite heady and spicy with lots of lovely sherry influence, dried fruit, raisins and nuttiness. 87/100
Sweet and spicy, plenty of rum influence here and bourbon maturation too but in all this polished / boiled sweetness I was left wondering where the classic ‘Jura’ elements were that I usually love so much? 83/100
A delicious fruity old bourbon matured Bowmore, smoke is almost non-existant here which is a little reminiscent of old-style peat-smoked (non Islay) whisky. My favourite of the tasting. 94/100
A superb old Bowmore expression, still softly smoky but full of tannic sherry wood influences, dried fruits and nuts and some minerality too. 93/100
Light, sweet and fruity with lots of cake notes, quite light on the palate this has spirity and vaporous touches which prevent it from becoming cloying. 84/100
Rich and smooth like good dark chocolate, subtle peaty and coastal elements mix with plenty of wood influence here. 88/100
Ok for me this is not really an improvement on the 12 Years Old but rather a different perspective on Bowmore, I feel this is never as overtly sherried as the colour suggests and is much more neutral. 84/100
