Smoky and coastal exactly as I expected, quite mealy and herbal in places and some sweetness and nutty nature, perhaps from the finishing? 86/100

Superb full of both polished highland and sticky toffee, slightly medicinal with the peat smoke similar to cherry cough drops. A fantastic and powerful mix of sweet and smoke!
Deliciously decadent, a smoke and red wine marriage, borders at times on a little inkiness which could be enhanced by the youth of the spirit here which brings so much power to that smoke. Later it is sweet dry and nutty and still delicious.

Benriach 5 Years Old 2013 The GreatDrams Single Cask Series Whisky Review: Quite light and spirity and shows signs of youth particularly in the coppery metallic nature. Not overtly peated – I picked this up blind as a dark/liqourice and burnt nature in which this gets most of its strength. Nice dark/dried fruit and sugary notes. 81/100
Kininvie KVSM001single malt whisky review: Initially I found this far too light and thin and didn’t favour the off citrus notes and spice. On revisit, and having breathed a little, this had smoothed a little around the edges, more sweetness and less acridity was apparent. I can’t see myself drinking a lot of this neat / with water as single malt should in my mind be able to be consumed. 68/100
