That heavy and touch sulphury Dailuaine character here adds meat to the fibrous nutty and ground coffee nature. Again a perfect balance is struck between weighty PX influence and spirit nature. 86/100

Dailuaine 4 Years Old 2012 Strictly Limited whisky review: Another ex-bourbon Dailuaine expression and this time young enough to reveal much more spirit character. Plenty of sulphur and vanilla combine to bestow a healthy dose of custard, hiding much of the unripe fruity characteristics still present in the spirit. 75/100
Dailuaine 15 Years Old Batch 2 (That Boutique-Y Whisky Company) whisky review: Pleasing and fairly full in the palate, almost a meal in a glass – if that meal is pancakes for breakfast. A great example of a Dailuaine with very little sherry influence, I suspect refill ex-bourbon barrels here, presenting something a little different from more standard or official offerings. 86/100
