What I say:

Dram #1 from WOLS tasting 14/3 ‘Age is only a number’ kicks off with this 24 year old Miltonduff-Glenlivet Cadenhead Small Batch.

Colour:

Full gold

Nose:

Grassy, citric, malty, oak wood, lime and lemon custard, pomegranate, sorrel,

Taste:

Sweet and fruity, lychee and lime with cream, waxed lemons,  rhubarb and custard sweets, musty old oak and some malty cereal notes with a waxy mouthfeel

Finish:

Long oaky slightly sour and waxy

Overall:

Reasonably complex but easy-drinking, lots of unusual fruit and herbal notes throughout tied together with old oaky wood.
