The Bass Rock
A trip to Lockett Bros in North Berwick is always an event for us. This independent wine and whisky shop have a fine selection on offer and the staff are always very helpful.
For some time now they have been producing their own bottlings which are named after three local landmark Islands, Fidra, Craigleith and the most famous of all The Bass Rock. All three lie just offshore of North Berwick and are home to numerous seabird colonies, a great view of them can be had from the Scottish seabird centre down by the harbourside.

Best of all the have their own ‘tasting room’ where you can try out practically any of the stock they have in store (excepting some of the more exclusive bottlings of whisky). So you can try before you buy and they have a huge range and selection of whiskies to try!
Leaving me with the hardest decisions of all – how much can I afford and what do I want!
Another satisfied customer!
If North Berwick is too far away for you to travel – don’t worry as they have an excellent online shop too.
