William Grant & Sons
Owners and operators of Ailsa Bay, The Balvenie, Kininvie, Girvan and Glenfiddich distilleries.
It was the dream of William Grant to make the ‘best dram in the valley’ and five generations later, this still holds true. William Grant & Sons distils some of the world’s leading brands of Scotch whisky, including Glenfiddich®, the world’s favourite single malt, The Balvenie® range of handcrafted single malts and, Grant’s® one of the world’s most loved blended Scotches. In addition, we now have one of Ireland’s finest Irish Whiskeys, Tullamore D.E.W.® and the newest addition to our family, the premium liqueur, Drambuie®.
The company also continues to lead the way in spirits innovation, for example with the delightfully curious Hendrick’s® Gin and our Caribbean spiced rum, Sailor Jerry® Rum. Our award winning portfolio also includes Monkey Shoulder® Triple Malt Whisky, Tequila Milagro and Reyka® Vodka.
Grant’s®, Glenfiddich®, The Balvenie®, Hendrick’s®, Sailor Jerry®, Tullamore D.E.W.®, Drambuie®, Monkey Shoulder®, Reyka®, Taboo®, OVD®, Wood’s®, Raynal®, Three Barrels®, Solerno®, Clan MacGregor® and Gibson’s® are all registered trademarks of William Grant & Sons Ltd and its subsidiary companies.
In 1887, when the first drop of spirit flowed out of Glenfiddich copper stills, William Grant fulfilled his lifelong ambition of creating ‘the best dram in the valley’.
Our founder self-belief and pioneering spirit have always been at the heart of what set our whisky apart and make Glenfiddich the World’s Most Awarded single malt Scotch whisky, remaining a constant source of inspiration.
We pride ourselves on a range of single malts that offer exploration, from our exceptional signature Glenfiddich 12 year old to our innovative Rich Oak and unique 15 year old Solera or our rare and sublime Glenfiddich 50 year old expression.
Each whisky in The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky range is unique; yet all are rich, luxuriously smooth and underpinned by a distinctive honeyed character. The exceptional quality of The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky owes much to The Balvenie Malt Master, David Stewart and the fact that the distillery retains a high level of craftsmanship that other malt whisky producers no longer employ.
Nowhere else will you find a distillery that still grows its own barley, still malts in its own traditional floor maltings and still has its own dedicated coopers and coppersmith.
