Really quite special and an education to my Irish whiskey palate. This has all the subtleties of scotch single malt and has been married masterfully using the best qualities of each of the cask maturations involved. 86/100.
A nice integration of the sherry cask finish, well balanced but still quite light-bodied this has a gentle diversity and is incredibly smooth – a great sipping whisky! 84/100.
An unusual mixture of whisky and cider flavours that I quite enjoyed, reminiscent of Calvados in some ways and some of the more rustic Normandy ciders we have sampled. 85/100.
