Adrien Camut 6 Ans d’Age Calvados Pays d’Auge Calvados Review: Another deep and rich expression, plenty of oak wood but with an effervescent/mentholic nature, probably tannic/cask derived? balanced by plenty of rich fruits. 86/100

Christian Drouin VSOP Calvados Pays d’Auge Calvados Review: A much more classical introductory Calvados here with a fine balance between fruity apple spirit and tannic oak cask influences, grows on the palate. 83/100
Roger Groult Reserve Calvados Review: A lovely base expression from Calvados Groult an unusual dried feeling to the fruit/apple in flavour and also texture too. 83/100
Christian Drouin 1989 Calvados Pays d’Auge review: A fantastically balanced Calvados, the sherry has deepened and darkened the fruits, reducing the apple sweetness and also prolonging some lovely mouth-coating oils. Everything in moderation here results in the complete package, dangerously easy to drink before you realise the fully what is going on. Deliciously light nutty and woody smoke, tart brambles and tannic oak. 93/100
Famille Dupont Calvados Pays d’Auge Cask Finish Collection No.1 Islay Whisky Cask review: A fantastic mixture of rich, fruity apple Calvados and coastal, oily and peaty Islay whisky that works really well. 90/100
Roger Groult 11 Years Old Calvados Pays d’Auge Sherry Cask Finish review: Fruity apple, blackcurrant and raspberry followed rapidly by lots of classic sherry; fruitcake, Christmas spices, leather and chocolate influences. My favourite of the three Cask Finish expressions. 88/100
Roger Groult 9 Years Old Calvados Pays d’Auge Whisky Cask Finish review: This expression has much more reserved apple elements, and appears to be more full-bodied with sweet pastry-like mealiness or cereal quality. 87/100
Roger Groult Calvados Pays d’Auge Jurançon Cask Finish review: Full of fresh apples and tropical fruits, floral perfumes balanced against drying oak wood. The Jurançon wine cask finish has been very complimentary to this Calvados, bestowing rich tropical fruit flavours and other orchard fruits, sweet and peachy. 87/100
Clear and fruity with just a touch of aged oak wood flavours, this is mostly aged in large wooden tuns to keep the oak influence light, before a finishing period in toasted 400l casks delivering a balance usually found on younger Calvados but with the flavours of a much more mature one. Superbly constructed and hugely enjoyable. 90/100
Roger Groult Calvados Pays d’Auge Venerable Review: A lovely combination of old wood and fresh ripe apple fruit, with equal measures of florality, spice and some bitter dark chocolate adds to an earthy quality too. 90/100
