A very enjoyable and accomplished mystery Speyside expression with a palate that is slightly thick with honey and syrup, a great single malt at the price! 84/100
Wow, wonderfully aged sherried Speyside dram, rich in lots of lovely spices and mixed with old oak wood qualities.
Fabulous on the nose, unfortunately on the palate this lacked the intensity of last years 28 year old expression and is rather more citric and creamy.

Interesting, delicate and quite creamy but with an overriding chalky nature that screams BOWMORE at me in big letters, coupled with either a refill sherry cask or mixture of refill sherry/bourbon cask maturation this remains highly drinkable but not overly impressive for me.
Some superb qualities from the aged tropical fruit medley to the masses of honey and beautifully complimentary spice from those ex-bourbon casks.

A very pleasant Speyside dram, lots of cereal and sweet fruits. There are some slightly oily and over-oaked elements but if anything that prevents this from becoming cloying. Again for the price the supermarkets brands have smashed it!
