New Whisky Releases: Week 2, 2018
This weeks exciting new whisky releases.
Peated from Benromach – delicious here’s our review of the 2009 bottling
Heavily sherried quarter of a century of grain whisky goodness for less than £70, even though a 50cl bottle this is still a great deal – expect this to not last long!
The 21 year old from Glenfiddich spends a little time in some rum casks to increase its loveliness, available as a wee sampler 20cl that won’t break your wallet.
Inchgower, Indie bottled after maturing in a refill sherry butt, yes please.
More cask finishing goodness, Tobermory’s peated Ledaig spirit receiving a tickle of Amontillado for sweetness sounds like a great combination.
Yep Redbreast’s fantastic Christmas Cake of a dram 12 yo delivered at full whack of cask strength – boof!
Burns Night alert! Grab yer kilt and bagpipes and pour a healthy dram o’ this.
Scallywag Year of The Dog £51.95
Wait for it! Yes 2018 is the Chinese Year of the Dog but not until the New Year Celebrations on the 16th of February – long after this has likely sold out!
