JACK DANIEL’S LAUNCHES NEW RYE WHISKEY
Distinctively rye, unmistakably Jack: spicy in flavour, smooth in character
Jack Daniel’s has used its 150-year whiskey-making expertise to create a new rye whiskey Jack’s way – spicy in flavour but sippin’ smooth in character, which will launch this November.
At 45% ABV, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye combines all the distinct flavours of rye with everything that’s unique about Jack Daniel’s. It’s made up of 70 per cent rye, 18 per cent corn, 12 per cent malted barley and is carefully, charcoal mellowed for a distinctively Jack finish.
Drier than Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, this well-rounded rye whiskey glows with accents of caramel and vanilla, followed by a warm, peppery rye character finish. The aroma is an enticing blend of soft fruit layered with an underlying rye spice and oak.
Mr Jack was a craftsman and true to his style, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye is made with the very best grains, cave spring water from ‘the hollow’ next to the distillery, which is charcoal mellowed and matured in American oak barrels. Of course, it also means every single drop is crafted in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye has a balance of flavours that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or mixed in a cocktail.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye (ABV 45%) is available from 2nd November at Sainsbury’s stores nationwide, currently on offer for £25.00 (usual RRP £32.00) or from the Jack Daniel’s Store.
